ALOPECIA (CAUSES AND MEDICATIONS)
Alopecia is another name for hair loss which can be as a result of some diseases or some medications. It is a condition that often affects males, females, young and old irrespective of languages or races.

Other causes of the condition include hormones, especially when there is a sudden change in it. It can also be caused by medications or vaccinations, or bad diet that is deficient in important minerals like zinc, iron and vitamins like vitamin B-6 and vitamin B-12. It can also be caused by intense physical stress, revere infection or chronic diseases. The symptoms include hair loss and anxiety and it usually require a medical diagnosis.
Treatments of the condition include visits to specialists like Dermatologists or a Primary Care Provider. It can also be treated by reducing stress and improving mental health. The condition usually gets resolved within months.
3) ANAGEN EFFLUVIUM
This is usually characterized by a large amount of hair loss in a short period of time, which can be termed abnormal. The condition may not be limited to the scalp alone. It can also affect the face and even the whole body. The condition can be caused by chemicals especially the ones used in the treatment of cancer in chemotherapy or even radiotherapy. While it affects people of all ages, it is usually common in people who are 60 years old and above. Symptoms of the condition include hair loss and also anxiety.
